Directed Effort: The Aim of Lucky Bamboo Productions
On top of my own work, I’ve adapted others’ material for television, film, comic books and online audio. One of my favorite pieces is Kim Stanley Robinson’s The Lucky Strike, starring Timothy Hutton, which I adapted for scifi.com’s Seeing Ear Theatre. I have also written for television and film, penning one episode of Gene Roddenberry’s Earth: Final Conflict and several episodes of Crusade, the sequel series to cult favorite Babylon 5. Finally, I have scripted various established properties for Marvel and DC Comicsincluding SpiderMan, X-Men, and Thundercats and have worked with some of the industry’s top artists.
I am now expanding my horizons and further exploring my life-long fascination with Japanese culture by learning to translate manga and anime from that language into English.
