As a certified personal trainer, I’d strongly advise weak side down 1st. So if you’re right handed, left side down 1st. Left handed, right, respectively. However many reps you can do weak side down, do the same for the strong side. Make sure everything is in balance or @ least work for it. In time, it will be accomplished…

You should only do as far as you can go, I can’t put my legs up fully straight either but this should motivate you to do more so you can become more flexible to be able to put your legs up straight. You shouldn’t be discouraged

Oh my GOD It’s impossible to do life up your body with your legs straight. Holy crap. This is in no way a good way to build motivation. If you’re just beginning to work out, this is really discouraging.
