@elemental57: I am not sure what you meant to say in that first sentence.. I think you left a word out? Second, there are types of HIIT that can work well for this, BUT they are more intricate than simply going out, and running at high intervals.. I can site you literally 20 different sources to back up ALL of my statements my friend. There IS a reason as to why vast majority of bodybuilders are seen WALKING, or performing other types of low intensity cardio..

I think you need to …
I think you need to do a little more research nick, low intensity cardio makes you muscle the more efficent you become to it, second the only way you lose muscle from HIIT is when you don’t consume BCCA’s like x-tend and purple wrath during break periods. I’m not hating on your vids nick, all I’m saying that your going to get better with age once you do more research about the science of bodybuilding(weight training, proper cardio for fat loss).

i kind of disagree …
i kind of disagree when he says doing cardio ; if its low intensity , then i guess its ok doing it in the morning , but i think theres much more efficient cardio training than low intensity , for example HIIT with with a ratio of 2:1 (low:high).Then i guess its not too bad doing it after your workout if you get some bcaa’s before doing HIIT; i think its even good :after your workout , nearly no glycogen is left , from where you get your energy ? fat

Basically 60% of your MHR (220-age) for up to 45 mins. The reason for low intensity is that fat is difficult to break down and relies on oxygen to do so. Thats why in terms of Energy system’s you will predominantly burn more fat than glucose/glycogen to reform ATP while being idol but obviously it’s not much as fat is so energy rich.
