Pilates Butt Exercises Round 2
August 21st, 2010 | by admin |
Erin Huggins brings you three more great pilates exercises for your butt. This series focuses on the lateral gluts or hips. This routine is also really great for people with low back issues. It’s good to do this before moving on to a more advanced butt workout. It’s still and amazing pilates butt routine, it’s just that it is more focused on body alignment. The butt and gluts are a really challenging body part for most of us girls! I understand belive me. I am always working on getting my butt and legs smaller, sexier and more toned. It takes a lot of repetitions. Keep doing the butt exercises and you will see change soon. www.erinhuggins.com Good luck!!

Hi Erin. Are these moves suitable for guys? I mean, do guys need to do more reps considering the muscle, bones, hormones, etc. are different compared to girls’?

reps or repetitions. you can do 10-15 reps per exercise. it depends on your goal. but once a day should be fine
By Businessman102 on Aug 22, 2010 | Reply
Sorry but what are “reps”? Should I just do these everyday just the number that u just did now? or should i do more? like once a day or a couple times per day?

thanks Erin…
what i want to do is have a toned body and wouldnt mind a bit of muscles on my arms and back
By ErinHuggins on Aug 22, 2010 | Reply
hi, honestly it really depends on your goal. i exercise 6 days a week. i typically do full body workouts every time. however, if you are “muscle building” you may want to alternate your routines. hope that helps!

Hi Erin,
My question is kind of similar to what someone asked below…
What should be the routine like? If i do a legs routine everyday, when do i exercise other parts like arms, chest etc?
Or should one always alternate the routines like legs on one day, chest the other and so on?

Thanks for this! I can feel it!
Anyway, I wanted to know if you recommend certain stretches to perform after exercising. I guess in a way, I am requesting a video that shows different cool down stretching
Thanks for the videos, I love you! God bless you for everything that you do.

thanks! most definitely rest your body if you are doing hard core weight training, cardio etc in addition to these vids. but a 5-10 minute pilates video is not nearly enough… most people don’t move enough in their daily lives in general, which is why it’s recommended to exercise 60 minutes a day. cheers, erin
