@elpollo650 – A really good way if you are very much serious about your training, is to eat up to 4000 calories a day for approximately a month and then drop down to the average 2500 – 3000 a day which will strip the excess fat off of your muscle and will improve the mass that your body is able to grow whilst doing your usual workout at a gym or any other workout facility, you then repeat a month after striping the fat and keep doing it.

It depends of that how old are you, if you are under 20 it’s ok you going to start to getting on weight when you’ll stop playing, if you play 40 mins in match it’s really hard to get more lbs, but you can also ask your couch to write you down diet, he should know something about it.

@elpollo650 I used to play basketaball everyday and I had strength workout to.
I couldn’t get more weight, it was 96kg. When I stopped play basketball(after 10 years), started to do more strenght and train kickboxing and started to getting weight.
102kg now, but year ago it was 107kg.

i have a question.i eat tons of food and work out and yet im losing weight. i mainly concentrate on my upper body because i play basketball every day. i get my leg work outs there. my question is why am i not gaining weight?i heard muscle weighs more than fat so im like stuck now on what to do. any help on what i should do to become a bit heavier but still healthy would be useful.
ps i dont drink milk or eat any type of dairy products.(lactose)
